Although I will agree i thought I was looking at an old comic when I first popped here

The site says "updated ε > 0 times per month", but there was no update in September. First thought: "Counterexample!" Second thought: Is there something wrong, or is Mike just really busy?

It is standard that ε is positive *real* number, so your counterexample is invalid. I already commented on this: ε is defined as (total # of updates) / (# of months passed since the first update) which are both monotone positive functions, so "ε > 0" will always be true even if Mike never makes another update.

I was interpreting "times per month" as a number of times for it to be updated each month, potentially with a different ε each month, but it also works as the average number of updates per month. At any rate, does anyone know what's up with the month-and-a-half of no updates?

Mike never specified that *he* was the one that updates the site. As long as we keep commenting >1 a month there's updates to the page.

According to my calculations,
ε = 553 / ( 1509 / 30 ) = 5530 / 503 = 10.99403579...

ZZzzzzzzzzz. If you're not going update your comic, or pay attention to your site and DELETE THE FREAKING SPAM, just shut it down. It's sad when sites go neglected for weeks on end.
