Someone somewhere knows you have this problem, understands and feels your pain. [as http://imgs.xkcd.com/comics/wisdom_of_the_ancients.png possibly meant to say]
Then again, probably someone somewhere knows you have this problem and likes causing that pain to you or some other entity in some other space.
My boss once had a problem with getting a specific server to boot. he asked a question online, got no response, managed to find an answer, and filled in a response to his question so that an answer existed.
2 years later he's forgotten about this completely and needs to setup an identical server (may be the same one with a dead disk, I forget) and he did a search online, found a question that matched his question, found an answer which had step for step what to do ... was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was, and then had a look at the author of the reply to find out that it was himself :)
That's really funny- sounds like what I would do. and like what happened to a prof friend of mine. He thought a student was plagerizing, but couldn't figure out who, although it sounded really familiar. He read it to his wife, who replied, "YOU wrote that." and gave the title of the book published years before. Student failed. Personally, I think the student should've been failed for out-and-out stupidity!
Solution: Use MathType for writing the math and write the rest in word or open office.
I know its cheating, but I use LyX
I thought that's what grad students were for?
