I was focused on the "well-behaved" meaning of nice and didn't think of its usual meaning for several minutes. Mathematics has so completely hijacked some common words that I automatically think of open coverings whenever I hear the word "compact" and so on.

Hey, have you ever tried to park a car with an open cover with no finite subcover?

It would really be mean if some of the invitees didn't fit through the door.

well i didnt reall get it....any help?
